BERRY FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE


It's so moist on the inside along with slightly crusty on the top, this french toast casserole is topped with berries. Serving with powdered sugar and maple syrup. One of the easiest and less time-consuming recipe, perfect for breakfast!

Ingredients:

  •  french bread
  •  large eggs
  •  2% milk
  •  vanilla extract
  •  cinnamon
  •  brown sugar
  •  strawberries sliced
  •  blueberries
  •  powdered sugar
  •  maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Firstly grease a casserole with vegetable oil or butter. Cut up French bread into cubes and add to the casserole.
  2. Then in a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Whisk mixture, mix well and pour the mixture into casserole.
  3. Slice the strawberries. Top all casserole with strawberries and blueberries.
  4. After that rap the casserole with saran wrap and refrigerate for at least four hours, or up to overnight.
  5. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.  and bake them for at least 40 minutes.
  6.  after baking sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  7. You can serve them with maple syrup if you want.
  8. Now enjoy and fill the stomach!
